Key Account Manager
About the role
Identify and acquire new on-trade (horeca) and off-trade (retail) accounts.
Develop and execute new business strategies to establish volume growth.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with Salmari’s most important partners.
Negotiate and manage annual deals with distributors and key on-trade accounts.
Activate key accounts to drive volume, visibility and product rotation.
Build and manage a structured sales pipeline using CRM.
Work independently while closely aligned with the commercial team.
Report directly to the Commercial Director.
Office / field ratio: approx. 30% office – 70% field.
What does a day as
Key Account Manager look like?
You start your day by answering emails and ticking off your to-do list at the Salmari HQ. Then, you have a meeting with the commercial team about the coming week.
Next, you hop into your Salmari car, ready for a day full of sales and appointments—It’s going to be a good day!
Today you will go to Rotterdam to visit the top on-trade accounts, discussing how to activate Salmari and boost rotation. After that, you visit an important horeca distributor in the Rotterdam area and you have meeting with a horeca group: a potential new client.
At the end of the day, you do a report on the last weeks sales performance.

About you
Completed (commercial) education ( HBO / WO).
Solid experience in a sales or commercial role.
Experience in on-trade (horeca) and/or off-trade (retail).
Experience within alcoholic beverages brands is a strong plus.
Strong dealmaking, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Energetic, convincing and professional communication style.
Preference for being in the field rather than behind a desk.
Independent working style with strong planning and administrative skills.
You connect with the Salmari brand.
A valid driver’s license (B).
Native Dutch and professional English.
Preferably living in Randstad.
